Video Tile CSCS Level 1 Exam Requirements

Before starting a Level 1 Health Safety and Environment Test in Construction as part of an application for a CSCS Labourer Green Card please ensure you are aware of the following:

Accepted Identification which must be in date which will need to be presented before the exam starts.

  • Photocard Driving Licence
  • A valid UK Passport
  • An international Passport
  • Formal ID Cards such as armed forces, police, student union, company ID card (providing they also include at least the Date of Birth or a postcode)
  • Local Authority/Taxi ID
  • Blue Badge (parking for people with disabilities)
  • Firearms Certificate/Shotgun Licence
  • UK Citizen Card
  • National ID card

System Requirements

  • A Laptop or Window PC
  • A web cam allowing full access during exam
  • Operating System: MS Windows 10 or above
  • Browser: Up to date (Internet Explorer is not supported) Best use is Edge
  • Video: Up to date video drivers
  • Memory: 8Gb+ RAM
  • Download Speed: Broadband (15Mb+) Test yours here: www.speedtest.net

Your exam timer will start when you press the “OPEN” button and complete the equipment check.
Please note these are the pre instructions before you start and you must have you photo ID Ready.

  1. When you are asked to photograph your ID please photograph the front and back of your ID where possible
  2. You will need a steady internet connection (Wi-Fi will be required for mobile streaming)
  3. No talking or reading questions out loud (even to yourself)
  4. No other web browser tabs or windows should be open
  5. No Eating or Drinking
  6. No Smoking or Vaping
  7. No other devices i.e. mobile phone tablets etc
  8. No Notes
  9. No one else in the room
  10. No Headphones (If your microphone is part of your headset please leave them off and leave them on the desk)
  11. Keep your face within view of the camera at all times

NOTE: The Safari web browser does not currently support screen sharing. Please do not use it to take the exam, if you do the exam will fail you and you will have to re-sit and and pay again.

A test failure for any breakage of the rules above will incur a full rebooking charge, a failure due to a low score will be charged at 50% of the booking charge.
