ID Requirements for CITB CSCS Test and Exam Candidates

Candidates who are not able to provide the correct ID on arrival at the test centre will be turned away and will lose their full paid fee(s).

A CITB candidate must provide one form of Primary ID containing a photograph and signature.

 PRIMARY ID Present one of the following:
PassportA valid passport of any nationality with a photograph of the candidate and their signature.
Photo Card Driving LicenceA valid UK only driving licence with a photograph of the candidate and the candidate signature.

If they do not have the required form of Primary ID they must present two forms of Secondary ID. This must be one ID from List A and one ID from List B (two from List A or two from List B is not acceptable).

SECONDARY ID one from List A and one from List B required Both should be current and valid forms of ID.

List APresent one of the following:
Non UK Driving LicenceShowing a photograph and printed full name.
Passport without signatureIf the passport issued is from any nation which does not require it to include a signature, candidates are required to provide an additional form from List B.
European National Identity CardShowing a photograph and printed full name.
CSCS Card Or Partner CardShowing a photograph and printed initial and surname — must show the CSCS Logo Hologram.
Citizen CardShowing a photograph and printed full name — must display the PASS hologram.
UK Armed Forces ID CardShowing a photograph and for an employee of Armed Forces only (not a dependent or spouse).
UK Armed Forces Veteran ID CardShowing a photograph and for an employee of Armed Forces only (not a dependent or spouse).
Young Scots CardBearing a photograph, printed full name and DOB- must display the PASS hologram.

List BPresent one of the following:
Credit CardShowing the candidate’s name (initial and surname is acceptable) and Signature and bank logo.
Debit CardShowing the candidate’s name (initial and surname is acceptable) and signature and bank logo.
Paper Driving LicenceShowing the candidate’s full name and signature- must be issued before 31 March 2000.

All documents presented as identification must be originals (no photocopies or digital copies), be in date (valid / not expired) and be in your name (which must match the name on the test booking).
