What do you need to get a Highways CSCS Card?

Since 2014 when CSCS replaced the Operatives Green Card, under the guidance of CITB you require two things:

• A Valid CITB Health Safety and Environment Score Report / Certificate

Individuals working in skilled occupations should not apply for this card, as it is exclusively for unskilled workers and indicates to employers that the holder is not engaged in a recognised training pathway. Possession of a Labourer card while employed in a highways occupation will result in denial of site access.

The Highways card remains valid for five years and is non-renewable. Upon expiry, you must apply for a new Highways card.
