What do you need to get a Labourer Green CSCS Card?
Since 2014 when CSCS replaced the Operatives Green Card, under the guidance of CITB you require two things:
- A Valid CITB Health Safety and Environment Score Report / Certificate
- A Valid Qualification such as the Level 1 Award in Health Safety in a Construction Environment
Both of these are included in this package

If you already have Level 1 Award in Health Safety in a Construction Environment Certificate and Qualification then you do not need to do the course again as this is a lifetime award.

Individuals working in skilled occupations should not apply for this card, as it is exclusively for unskilled workers and indicates to employers that the holder is not engaged in a recognised training pathway. Possession of a Labourer card while employed in a skilled occupation will result in denial of site access.
The Labourer card remains valid for five years and is non-renewable. Upon expiry, you must apply for a new Labourer card.
Applicants are required to pass the CITB health, safety, and environment test for operatives and possess one of the following qualifications:
- Level 1 Award in Health and Safety in a Construction Environment (Scotland Level 4)
- Scottish Level 5 REHIS Elementary Health and Safety Certificate
- NOCN/ CSkills Awards Construction Health and Safety (F/618/0738) unit

Applications must be submitted through CSCS Online.
Approved cards are typically dispatched within five working days.

If your name is incorrect, you can change it on your first login only, we are unable to do so afterwards under any circumstances.
Before starting a Level 1 Health Safety and Environment Final Exam please ensure you are aware of the following:
- The accepted Identification WHICH MUST BE IN DATE which will need to be presented before the exam starts via web cam is either a:
- Photocard Driving Licence
- Valid UK Passport
- International Passport

- A WEB CAM & MICROPHONE allowing full access during exam.
- Operating System: MS Windows 10 or above
- Browser: EDGE Up to date. Do not use Safari on an apple product.

- Memory: 8Gb+ RAM

Exam Rules:
- No talking or reading questions out loud (even to yourself)
- No other web browser tabs or windows should be open
- No Eating or Drinking
- No Smoking or Vaping
- No other devices i.e. mobile phone tablets etc
- No Notes
- No one else in the room
- No Headphones (If your microphone is part of your headset please leave them off and leave them on the desk)
- Always keep your face within view of the camera

If you do not access the course within 20 days of registration your courses will be recalled until you are ready to access them. You will need to contact us to have them re-registered. There is no fee to do this.
A refund can only be offered in line with the terms and conditions prior to you accessing the course/exam. Once you have started the course the credit is used, no refund can be offered if you do not sit the exam or are unsuccessful with the exam for any reason.
Once you have completed the exam you may receive an email from admin@trainingemail.com within 2-3 days requesting your ID before marking of the exam can take place. It is your responsibility to reply to this. Please check your spam/junk folder as this may be delivered there automatically.
